The Weekend BREXIT Mini Nugget: 3 Simple PMQs so as NOT to Confuse

We continue to hear promises/commitments for a swift BREXIT irrespective of the outcome of the negotiations. On the flip side what we’re seeing in terms of actual developments is an entirely different picture. So without repeating myself from previous posts on the subject and to cut off all the noise surrounding the question of BREXIT what I would like to know is a few things from Theresa May particularly considering the significance of BREXIT on this country for generations to come:

1. How much money has been squandered thus far in this BREXIT process and what have been the effects on the economy – in specifics please – and more importantly who will eventually pick up the bill ?
2. What are the specific definitions for a successful delivery of BREXIT as well as definitions of failure both including effects on trade/economy, future relationship with the EU, borders, currency, immigration etc. and what contingency plans are in place to deal with this situation?  You understand of course that for any legitimate policy there must definitions of both Success as well as Failure, right?
3. While we do appreciate your confidence in great things to come post BREXIT are you, your team and your government prepared to be held legally/financially accountable for the negative ramifications of BREXIT on the lives of the British people affected by this decision as well as your flawed process that got us here, especially considering the fact that you/your team are in effect subverting our Democratic processes to prevent a 2nd Referendum on the decision to exit the EU based on what we know so far and despite polls suggesting the majority are now against this decision?

 In other words what I would like to hear is for Theresa May to demonstrate in no uncertain terms her confidence not just in rhetoric but in action both in the decision and the process so that we can all sleep well knowing that Mrs. May is genuine about her confidence to the extent that she’s putting her career both personally & professionally at stake on this decision. You see Mrs. May I have this weird perception – I really don’t know where it comes from – that politicians, particularly who use their careers as an ego journey, become quite bold only when they have little at stake in their decisions.  I am of course open to changing my mind so please do prove me utterly wrong in your case.
